• For professional use only.

• This product and its accessories must not be modified in

any way.

• Do not use this product if it has been damaged.

• If the product data or hazard warning signs on the prod-

uct cease to be legible or become detached, replace with-

out delay.

• The product must only be installed, operated and ser-

viced by qualified personnel in an industrial environ-

ment.

Intended Use

The product is designed to be used as a fused mains switch

for Atlas Copco fixture tightening tools systems.

Product Specific Instructions

Electrical safety

THIS EQUIPMENT MUST BE EARTHED

(GROUNDED)!

Systems must be used with mains or nets that contain a

ground lead. Make sure that the system and each unit is

grounded correctly.

If you are in any doubt that these rules are fulfilled, contact

factory expertise or Atlas Copco Industrial Technique AB.

Should the tools suffer electronic malfunction or breakdown,

earthing provides a low resistance path to carry electricity

away from the user.

Equipment connected between a phase and the Neutral must

be certified according to EN 60950-1 or EN 61010-1.

Systems found with damages to ground connections or miss-

ing inadequate grounding to any system unit, must be discon-

nected and repaired immediately.

The principal voltage must be cut before the power plug is

disconnected, either by turning off the main switch in the

Main Switch Box or using some other method.

General Operation Safety

WARNING Test the emergency stop at regular inter-

vals.

Each emergency stop installation must be tested reg-

ularly to ensure maintained safety integrity. It is rec-

ommended that this test is included in the regular

maintenance procedure for the system.

Position the equipment so that the disconnecting device is

within easy reach.

Signs and Stickers

The product is fitted with signs and stickers containing im-

portant information about personal safety and product main-

tenance. The signs and stickers shall always be easy to read.

New signs and stickers can be ordered by using the spare

parts list.
