 WARNING: Because this is a universal product, make sure BEFORE using
it for the first time that the product can be attached and used correctly on
your vehicle type without any problems. The parts required for assembly
must be determined yourself because these can vary depending on the type
of motorcycle. Because the hand-guard assembly kit is installed in a safety-
relevant area of ​ ​ t he vehicle, SW-MOTECH recommends having the
assembly/maintenance of the product carried out by a qualified specialist
workshop.
 WARNING: Always wear eye and hand protection!
 WARNING: Always use the proper tools!
 NOTE: Assembly is shown on the left side. Repeat the assembly with the
corresponding parts on the right side of the handlebar. The handlebar shown
serves as an example.
Remove the original end weights and handguards if they are mounted.
Make sure the handlebar ends and the inside of the handlebars are clear.
Depending on the inner handlebar diameter, choose between Option A and b .
The spacers (5) can be installed optionally depending on the space available.
Loosely screw the parts shown onto the brackets (1/2).
 WARNING: Use a liquid threadlocker!
Tighten the screws (3) only loosely.
Mount the brackets (1/2) onto the handlebar ends.
Tighten the screws (3) as specified in the mounting instructions.
 DANGER: After mounting, make sure that all switch and control units,
especially the throttle assembly, brake lever, emergency stop switch and
clutch, function properly and are easy to operate!
Also make sure that the handlebars can be fully turned in both directions. If
the maximum angle of turn causes parts of the product come into contact
with the tank or other vehicle components, it is essential to reposition the
product or the handlebars!
Make sure to follow the vehicle manufacturer's specifications! DO NOT ride
your vehicle if the switch and control units are not functioning correctly or
cannot be operated correctly!
BEFORE every ride, carry out a complete functional check of the handlebars
and all fittings!
