ACTIVATING /
DEACTIVATING THE
PARKING BARRIER

• Press the
bracket (13) to a vertical position and
in this way block off the parking
space.
• Press the
bracket down and in this way release
the parking space.
If the bracket is moved once it has been
moved into the vertical position, an alarm
sounds.
The alarm automatically stops as soon as
the bracket is returned to its original posi-
tion (vertical position). This also happens
automatically if the bracket is not pressed
down by external interference.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Please Note!
■
No liquid must get inside the motor
unit. Never immerse the device in
water!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
• Keep the solar panel (7) clean so that
the greatest possible absorption of
light is ensured. Wipe down the solar
panel (and the other components of
the device if necessary) with a damp
cloth.
• When it is not in use, store the device
in a dry, clean place which is out of
the reach of children and animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The battery is empty.

Charge up the battery.
The battery is not connected (correctly) to
the motor unit.
►
Correct the fit of the plug connec-
tions.
The battery does not charge during
daylight.
The battery is not connected (correctly) to
the solar unit (7).
►
Correct the fit of the plug connec-
tions.
The solar panel is not absorbing enough
sunlight.
►
Place the device in a different posi-
tion.
►
Clean the solar panel.
The battery is not charging when it is
connected to the mains power.
The USB mains adapter is not inserted in
the plug socket correctly or the connec-
tors of the USB cable (6), battery and
USB mains adapter are not connected
together correctly.
►
Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the electrical dis-
tributor (fuse box).
