Starting Up
So long as all safety instructions are complied with, the device is ready to start up.
1.
Open the laptop and remove all the pieces of
plastic film in order to avoid damage caused by
overheating.
2. Remove the mains adapter and power cord from
the accessories box.
3. Plug the mains adapter into the appropriate port
on the back of the laptop and then into a power
source.
4.
Boot up the system.
5. The Windows® welcome screen will display
(Windows® is already installed).
You should keep your operating system up to date so that your laptop complies with
current security standards. Typically, the latest Windows Update is automatically
installed prior to delivery. To make sure, you can check manually whether Windows
is up to date under "Settings" and "Update and Security".
Cleaning and Maintenance
Only use a soft cloth for external cleaning to prevent scratches.
Depending on the usage environment, cleaning the internal fan is recommended at
least every 6 months. If the fan becomes excessively dusty, the device can overheat.
