Safety Instructions
For your own safety, always unplug the laptop and take out all electronic devices
feeding other computer cables as well as the battery before you open the case and,
in particular, before components are replaced or added. If these instructions are not
observed, personal injury or equipment damage may result.
Requirements for Mains Adapter, Mains Cable and Power Connector
To protect against stray currents, the device must be connected to a grounding
terminal. Plug the mains cable into a grounded outlet. Note that other spare cables
may not provide adequate protection against stray currents.

The grounding prong of the mains cable should under no circumstances be
deactivated. The ground contact fulfills an important safety function.
•
Plug the mains cable into a power outlet that is always easy to reach.
•
Disconnect the laptop from the power supply by pulling out the mains adapter
from the connection on the back.
•
Only use mains cables with an intact grounding conductor (and, for example, no
2-pin adapters).
•
Only use the original mains adapter that comes with the laptop.
The mains cable included with the product complies with the applicable regulations
of the country in which the product was purchased.
