Malfunction
10 STORAGE
1. Drain suction and pressure line.
2. Unscrew drain plug and allow the water to
drain out of the pump.
3. Screw in the drain plug again and store pump
and accessories in a frost-proof place.
NOTE If there is the danger of frost, the sys-
tem must be completely drained and the pump
must be stored in a frost-proof place.
11 DISPOSAL
Electrical and electronic appliances do not
belong in household waste, but should be
collected and disposed of separately.
Packaging, equipment and accessories are made
from recyclable materials, and must be disposed
of accordingly.

Possible cause
Pump was switched off to pre-
vent dry running.
Leak on suction side.
Leak on filter bowl.
Leak on filter chamber drain
screw.
End of hose not in water, water
reservoir (e.g. cistern or well)
empty.
Pump drawing in air.
Filter heavily contaminated.
Suction line blockage
Flow rate less than 300 l/h.
Pump switches on and off sev-
eral times although no water is
being drawn off.

Pump is switched off as
protection against over-
heating.
Remedy
Fault on suction side. Rectify fault
and press the SET button. Pump
then starts up again. Attention: Hot
water when the pump restarts!
Check suction valve and suction
hose.
Check filter bowl seal, retighten filter
bowl.
Check drain screw seal, retighten
drain screw.
Suction line must always be at least
30 cm under the surface of the wa-
ter.
Clean filter.
Remove dirt from the suction area.
Increase flow rate.
Fault on pressure side, e.g. leak.
Even small leaks at water taps and
toilets can cause the system pres-
sure to drop. Check the pressure
line and draw-off points for leaks.
Check and clean the check valve
(18) in the filter chamber. Rectify the
fault and confirm with the SET but-
ton - the pump then restarts. Atten-
tion: Hot water when the pump re-
starts!
