1.0 In general
Prior to start working with this machine read, the operating instructions and safety precautions carefully. All labels on
the machine must always be observed and maintained in a legible condition. Installation, operation, maintenance and
repairs of the machine should be performed only by authorized and qualified personnel. From the operator is always
expected to apply safe working practices and to follow all applicable local safety regulations and requirements.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that the machine is maintained to provide safe working conditions at all times
and that the as standard installed safety devices are not bypassed or overridden. These safety instructions are
general and do apply to different types of machines and equipment. It is therefore possible that some of the
statements made here are applicable to the respective machine.
Besides the usual safety information applicable to all machine tools and their components the following safety
information are of particular importance. Keep the operating instructions always available to operators and make sure
that the operation and any maintenance of the machine are carried out according to all applicable instructions. Failure
to follow these instructions and/ or unauthorized changes to the machinery and its components supplied by FLOTT
will lead to exclusion of warranty claims. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any damage and/ or
personal injury caused by failure to follow these safety rules, or by neglect of ordinary care, caution in handling,
operation, maintenance and any unauthorized and / or improper repair of the machine.
2.0 Transport
ATTENTION! Always check delivery for completeness and damage!
The carrier (forwarder or railway) has to be informed immediately in case of transport damages.

The machine is suitable for the transport by forklift or pallet truck.
The general and local regulations for the transport of machinery do apply.
3.0 Operation
During operation of the machine, make sure that

the operator won't get into direct contact with the running steel brush
Ø
the waste material is collected, that neither people nor machines are at risk
Ø
that all safety devices of the machine - such as covers, etc. are properly installed
Ø
that only suitable materials are deburred.
4.0 Maintenance and Repair
Maintenance and repairs should be carried out only by or under the supervision of qualified persons.
During any maintenance or repair work, the main switch of the machine needs to be turned off and must be secured
against unauthorized turning on to prevent the machine from restarting.
While servicing the machine has to be unplugged so that the network connection can't be reestablished inadvertently.
Only use the manufacturer's original spare parts and equipment that is recommended to use by the manufacturer
such as saw blades, coolants, hydraulic oils, etc.
Use proper tools for maintenance and repair works.
For cleaning, never use flammable solvents or detergents or substances that are known to develop hazardous vapors.
Motors and other electrical components shall be protected during cleaning against the ingress of moisture of any kind.
Prior to release for operation after maintenance or repair the machine must be checked whether all safety devices are
working properly.
5. Accessories and parts
FLOTT - Genuine Parts and Accessories are specifically designed for each type of FLOTT deburring machine.
The installation and / or use of products that are not supplied or recommended by us can have negative influence
regarding the machine's performance and durability.
FLOTT is not liable for any damage occurring due to the use of non-original spare parts and/or the use of any not by
FLOTT recommended part or any service or reconstruction work unauthorized by us.
The operator is responsible for the proper and reliable assembly of all original machine parts and accessories supplied
loose with the machine like guards, etc.
