Allgemeine Beschreibung
Sie haben mit dem Jamara Speedregler Flash einen absolut hoch-
wertigen, digitalen Mikroprozessor gesteuerten Regler erworben.
Der neu entwickelte Regler basiert auf den neuesten technischen
Erkenntnissen. Dadurch ist er auf höchstem technischem Leistungs-
niveau und bietet Höchstleistung bei geringstem Gewicht und
Platzbedarf. Dieser Regler ist ausgelegt für alle Typen von Brushless
Motoren.
Der Speedregler stellt eine stufenlos regelbare Vorwärts- und Rück-
wärts Fahrfunktion bereit. Die Programmierung des Regler kann
vom Sender aus mit Hilfe des Gassteuerknüppels oder über eine
Programmierkarte erfolgen. Der Regler ist mit einem leistungsfähi-
gen BEC-System ausgestattet, so dass ein separater Empfängerak-
ku entfallen kann. Beim Speedregler Flash 2000 und 3000 ist ein
besonders hoch belastbares getaktetes BEC-System eingebaut.
Die Wege der Gassteuerung können eingelernt und abgespeichert
werden. Außerdem überwacht die Software des Reglers die Akku-
spannung und verhindert eine Tiefentladung. Besonders für LiPo-
Akkus ist dieses besonders wichtig. Es sind zwei mögliche Abschalt-
stufen programmierbar:
• 4,5 V/Zelle (NiCa/NiMh)
• 3,2/2,9 V/Zelle (Lipo/LIion)
Die Speedregler Flash sind mit einer Einschaltimpulsüberprüfung
ausgestattet, der Geber muss sich beim Einschalten in der Position
'Neutral' befinden, sonst ertönt ein Warnsignal.
Eine Übertemperaturschutzeinrichtung sorgt dafür, dass der Regler
nicht überlastet werden kann. Der Regler schaltet den Motor ab,
wenn die interne Temperatur zu hoch wird für einen sicheren Be-
trieb. Die Speedregler sind mit einem Lüfteranschluss ausgestattet.
Mit Hilfe eines daran anzuschließenden kleinen Ventilators kann die
Wärme besonders effektiv abgeführt werden.

General Description
In choosing the JAMARA Speed Controller 60 A you have chosen
an ESC which has been constructed using the latest developments
in Digital Microprocessors. Thanks to this, the ESC is at the pin-
nacle of technology and can easily handle high currents for long
periods of time at a very low size and weight. This ESC has been
specifically designed for use in electric Car and Truck models fitted
with Brushless motors. The ESC offers proportional speed control
both forwards and in reverse and it can be programmed using ei-
ther the transmitter's throttle stick or a separate programming card.
We have equipped our ESCs with a powerful BEC circuit which
eliminates the need for a separate receiver battery. The Speed
Controllers Flash 2000 and 3000 boast a pulsed BEC system which
provide a particularly high current.
The throttle throw must be individually calibrated to your transmit-
ter and stored by the units memory. The ESC monitors the battery
pack voltage and will switch off before a pack is deeply discharged,
which is very important when using todays expensive LiPo battery
packs. The cut-off voltage can be set to 2 values:-
• 4,5 V/Cell (NiCa/NiMh)
• 3,2/2,9 V/Cell (Lipo/LIion)
The Flash Speed Controllers have a signal detection system which
means that you will be warned by an acoustic signal if the throttle
control is not in the 'off' position on switching on.
A temperature sensor protects the unit from damage which may be
incurred if it was subjected to a too high a current. If the current
draw is too high the internal temperature will rise and the unit will
cut-off. Furthermore the unit is fitted with an external Fan connec-
tor and fitting an external Fan will greatly assist in dissipating the
heat generated by the unit.
