Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of the ELRO Pro PK4910 carbon monoxide detector! A carbon monoxide detector sounds an alarm at elevated carbon monoxide (CO) levels and warns you of potentially life-threatening situations. Carbon monoxide is an invisible, odourless and tasteless gas and cannot be detected naturally. -

What to do if carbon monoxide is detected? If the carbon monoxide alarm sounds an alarm and has detected carbon monoxide, proceed as follows: • Keep calm, open all doors and windows and turn off all combustion appliances. • If the detector continues to sound the alarm, evacuate the building. Leave all doors and windows open and do not enter until the alarm has stopped. - Seite 5 Where do you install a carbon monoxide detector? • In rooms containing a combustion appliance, you can install the carbon monoxide detector in the following location: At a horizontal distance of 1-3 meters from the combustion appliance. If the space is divided by a wall or, for example, a large cupboard: on the same side as the combustion appliance Preferably on the ceiling: o At a minimal distance of 30 cm from the wall.

Kohlenmonoxid ist ein unsichtbares, geruchs- und geschmackloses Gas und kann nicht auf natürliche Weise wahrgenommen werden. -

Introductie Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van de ELRO Pro PK4910 koolmonoxidemelder! Een koolmonoxidemelder geeft alarm bij verhoogde concentraties koolmonoxide (CO) en waarschuwt je voor potentieel levensbedreigende situaties. Koolmonoxide is een onzichtbaar, geurloos en smaakloos gas en kan niet op een natuurlijke manier worden waargenomen. Een koolmonoxidemelder is daarom onmisbaar in iedere woning waarin zich verbrandingstoestellen bevinden. -

Hoe te handelen als er koolmonoxide wordt gedetecteerd? Als de koolmonoxidemelder een alarm geeft en koolmonoxide heeft gedetecteerd. Handel dan als volgt: • Blijf kalm, open alle deuren en ramen en schakel alle verbrandingstoestellen uit. • Als de melder blijft alarmeren, evacueer dan het gebouw. Laat alle deuren en vensters open en ga niet naar binnen voordat het alarm gestopt is. -
