Safety Precautions

Read the manual carefully before using this appliance and keep
it in a safe place, together with warranty card, proof of purchase
and packaging materials. If you pass the appliance on to a third
party, also pass on the user manual.
• Use the appliance only for the intended, private use. This
appliance is not intended for commercial use.
Do not use the appliance outdoors. Protect it from heat,
direct sunlight, humidity (never submerge in any liquids)
and sharp edges.
• The power adaptor is only intended for use in dry environ-
ment.
• Ensure that the output voltage, currency and polarity of the
power adaptor correspond to the nameplate specifications!
• Do not touch the power adaptor with wet hands!
• Unplug the power adaptor from the appliance when clean-
ing or if a fault occurs.
• Make sure that the adaptor cable is not bent, crushed, run
over or does not come into contact with heat sources.
• Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you
leave the room you should always turn the device off.
Remove the plug from the socket.
• The device and the mains lead have to be checked regu-
larly for signs of damage. If damage is found the device
must not be used.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always con-
tact an authorized technician. To avoid exposure to danger,
always have a faulty cable replaced only by the manufac-
turer, by our customer service or by a qualified person and
with a cable of the same type.
• Use only original spare parts.
• Do not use the appliance under a blanket.
Children and Frail Individuals
• In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their
reach.
WARNING!
Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the foil
as there is a danger of suffocation!
• This device is not intended to be used by individuals
(including children) who have restricted physical, sensory or
mental abilities and/or insufficient knowledge and/or experi-
ence, unless they are supervised by an individual who is
responsible for their safety or have received instructions on
how to use the device.
• Children should be supervised at all times in order to
ensure that they do not play with the device.

essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid
accidents and prevent damage to the machine:

Intended Use

This appliance offers a relaxing massage to adults on certain
parts of the body. It cannot replace medical treatment. Do not
use the massage pillow if one or more of the following warnings
apply to you. If in doubt, ask your physician if the massage
device is suitable for you.
WARNING:
Do not use this massage device
• after a slipped disc or pathological changes to the verte-
brae.
• immediately after surgery.
• under any circumstances when you wear a pacemaker.
• if you suffer from skin diseases.
• during pregnancy.
• while sleeping.
NOTE:
• The appliance can be used on-the-move wherever a 12V
socket is available, e.g. when camping.
• Do not use the device in a car.
The appliance is only intended for the purpose described in this
manual. ETV Elektro-technische Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH is
not responsible for any damage due to improper or negligent
use.
Start-Up
• Remove all packaging materials.
• Lay the Massage Mat on a stable base (chair, armchair,
bed, couch, floor).
• If necessary use the rubber loops to secure the mat.
