– To remove the rechargeable battery pack from the pump, press both battery retaining clips (2) inwards at the same
time and pull the battery pack off the pump.
– Connect the power supply unit (11) or the 12 V vehicle plug (13) to the battery charger (12).
– Insert the rechargeable battery pack (3) into the battery charger (12). Pay attention to the correct polarity.
– Subsequently plug the power supply unit (11) into a suitable outlet, or the vehicle plug (13) into a cigarette lighter
socket.
– If possible, only charge and discharge rechargeable battery packs which are almost flat to avoid a memory effect.
– The battery charger (12) provides two push buttons to automatically discharge the rechargeable battery pack. We
recommend you to use these buttons to ensure that the rechargeable battery pack is fully discharged. The yellow
lamp illuminates during the discharging cycle.
– The rechargeable battery pack is automatically charged after discharging; the red lamp illuminates.
Note: The charging cycle lasts approx. 4 – 5 hours.
– The green lamp illuminates once the battery is fully charged. Please remove the rechargeable battery pack from
the battery charger and disconnect it from the power supply.
– Reinsert the rechargeable battery pack (3) into the compressed air pump. Make sure that both battery retaining
clips (2) engage correctly and the rechargeable battery pack cannot fall out.
Caution! Do not use excessive force to insert the rechargeable battery pack into the battery charger or the pump.

Allow rechargeable battery packs to cool down before recharging them.

6. swItchIng the PumP on/off

– The pump is equipped with a safety switch (4) that prevents accidental switching on. This safety switch must be
moved from right to left (towards the "open lock" symbol).
– After unlocking the safety switch, start the pump by pressing the on/off switch (5).

7. APPlIcAtIon

– First, determine the required and correct pressure for the product you wish to inflate. Refer to respective documents
to determine the correct pressure for a product.
Note: You can attach an appropriate adapter (10) directly to the compressed air pump, or use the pump with the
–
supplied valve connector (9).
Inflating car / bicycle tyres
– To inflate car / bicycle tyres, the compressed air pump can be connected directly to the valve or via the supplied
valve connector.
– First, loosen the box nut (7) on the pump by turning it anti-clockwise.
– When connecting the compressed air pump directly to the valve, place the air outlet opening onto the valve and
tighten the box nut (7) by turning it clockwise.
– Make sure that the pump is connected correctly to the valve. Press the on/off button (5) to inflate the tyres.
– If you wish to use the valve connector (9), loosen the box nut as described above.
– After loosening the box nut, push and turn the valve connector (9) until it is securely fitted into the air outlet opening.
Always make sure it is fitted correctly prior to use.
– Retighten the box nut (7) by turning it clockwise.
