SERVICE POINTS
1. Removal of auto mechanism, tone arm, DD
motor, arm drive motor and belt
First secure the tone arm to the arm rest and then
remove
the dust cover,
platter and bottom
panel.
Remove the above parts as follows.
[Removal of auto mechanism]
(1) Pull out the arm guide. (Fig. 1)
(2) Remove the shield plate mounting screw () (1
req.) and the two auto mechanism
screws (Q).
(Fig. 2)
(3) First move the tone arm toward the record guide
center
and
then,
while
lifting
up
the
auto
mechanism, rotate it in the direction of the arrow
given in Fig. 2.
(4) During the re-mounting process, first mount the
auto mechanism and then depress the size lever
so that it is inserted into the slit, as in Fig. 3.
[Removal of tone arm] (Fig. 4)
(1) Remove the auto mechanism following the pro-
cedure above.
(2) Dissolve the soldering around the pick-up leads
and detach.
(3) Remove
the two
mounting
screws (8) of the
follow-up plate.
Note: Return and keep the anti-skating scale at
"Oo".
(4) Remove the two tone arm mounting screws @).
