Switch off the hob element after use via the control unit and do not rely on the pan detector.
BEFORE USE
IMPORTANT: The cooking zones will not switch on if the pots are not the right size. Only use pots with the
"INDUCTION SYSTEM" symbol (illustration below). Place the pan on the desired cooking zone before switching
on the hob.
EXISTING POTS AND PANS
Use a magnet to check whether the pot is suitable for the induction hob: pots and pans are unsuitable if they
are not magnetic.
Make sure that the pots have a smooth bottom, otherwise they may scratch the hob. Check the
dishes.
Never place hot pots or pans on the surface of the hob control panel. This can cause damage.
The base diameter of pots or pans should be at least 10 cm.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Do not use the following to avoid permanent damage to the glass ceramic plate: Pots with
imperfectly flat bottoms and metal pots with enamelled bottoms.
