Safety
Only qualified contractors should carry out installation, commis-
sioning, maintenance and repair of the product.
4.1
General safety instructions
We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability only
if original accessories and spare parts intended for the product
are used.
Material losses
If the high limit safety cut-out of the DHW cylinder has
responded, replace the flexible hoses of the safety as-
sembly before recommissioning.

Note
Observe all applicable national and regional regulations
and instructions.

Product description
You can retrofit a pressure reducing valve.
5.1
Standard delivery
The following are delivered with the product:
- Safety valve with drip facility
- Shut-off valve with pressure gauge connection
- Tundish with pipe collar
- Flexible hose cold water connection with union nuts, 250 mm
long
- Flexible hose DHW connection with male thread and union
nut, 250 mm long
- Flat gaskets

Installation
6.1
Product installation
Note
For installation, observe the DHW cylinder operating and
installation instructions.
The safety assemblies are suitable for installation on finished
walls.
f Before installing the safety assembly, compare the maximum
permissible pressure of the DHW cylinder with the response
pressure of the safety valve.

Note
Ensure that the flexible hoses are not kinked, turned or
interchanged during installation. Prevent any tensioning
during installation.
f Flush all water pipes thoroughly before installation.
f The safety valve discharge aperture must remain open to the
atmosphere.
f Seal in the male thread of the flexible hose. Screw the flexi-
ble hose into the wall connection for DHW.
f Connect the flexible hose including flat gasket to the DHW
connection of the DHW cylinder.
f Seal in the safety assembly. Screw the safety assembly into
the wall connection for cold water.
f Connect the safety assembly and the cold water connection of
the DHW cylinder to the flexible hose including flat gaskets.
f Tighten the fittings.
f Fit the tundish with the pipe collar to the drain pipe.
