4 SERVICE-HINWEISE
4.1
ALLGEMEINES
Zur Reparatur und zum Abgleich des Senders SK 5012-U ist
eine Adaption mittels MeRadapter an Standardmefplatze er-
forderlich. Eine Uberpriifung der Sender ist nur mit Hilfe der
Mef&adapter
sinnvoll.
Der

folgende Service-Hilfsmittel an:

Achtung! Bei der Demontage und beim Abgleich

des Senders sind die "Sicherheitshinweise" auf
Seite 2 zu beachten.
4.2
DEMONTAGE
Die Positionsnummern entsprechen den Nummenrn in der Ex-
plosionszeichnung (siehe "Explosionszeichnung', Seite 25).

Antenne (19) und Mikrofon abschrauben.

Batteriefachdeckel (3) 6ffnen und Batterien bzw. Akkus
entnehmen.

Eine Schraube im Scharnier (2) entfernen und Batte-
riefachdeckel (3) durch seitliches Herausziehen des ande-
ren Scharnieres entfernen.
4
Ringmuttern an der Mikrofon- und Antennenbuchse
(13/14) mit Lemo-Schlissel entfernen.
5
Zylinderschrauben (12) im Batteriefach entfernen.
6
Batteriefach und Leiterplattenverbund an den Buchsen
(13/14) vorsichtig aus dem Gehduse schieben. Batte-
riefach vorsichtig vom Leiterplattenverbund Idsen. Die ver-
bindende Leiterplattenfolie kann nicht entfernt werden.

Auf der HF-Leiterplatte (16) zwei Kreuzschlitzschrauben
(15) an der Mikrofonbuchse entfernen.

Aufder NF-Leiterplatte zwei Kreuzschlitzschrauben (15) an
der Antennenbuchse entfernen.

Leiterplatten voneinander trennen.
4.3
ABGLEICH
Zur Reparatur und zum Vorabgleich ist der Leiterplattenver-
bund
aus dem
Gehause
zu entnehmen
(siehe
"Demonta-
ge").
4.3.1
VORBEREITUNG
1
Leiterplatten mit dem 10-poligen Extenderkabel verbin-
den.

Mefadapter M-SK 50 AF an die Mikrofonbuchse anschlie-
Ren.
3
Mefadapter M-SK 50 RF an die Antennenbuchse anschlie-
Ren.
4
Netzgerat auf 2,4 V einstellen (Strombegrenzung 500 mA).
5
Netzgerat mit den Kontaktfedern auf der linken Seite des
Batteriefaches verbinden.
6
Empfindlichkeitseinsteller S3 (GAIN) in Position 3 bringen.

Mittlere Sendefrequenz (fcc) ermittein

Am Kanalwahischalter S2 (Channel) den Kanal wahlen, der
dieser Frequenz am nachsten liegt.
4 SERVICE HINTS
4.1
GENERAL
Repair and alignment of the SK 5012-U transmitter requires
test adapters to connect to standard test stations. Therefore,
Sennheiser's
Service Department offers the following test
equipment:

Attention! Strictly adhere to the "Safety Require-

ments" on page 2 when disassembling and alig-
ning the transmitter.
4.2
DISASSEMBLY
The item numbers correspond to the numbers in the explo-
ded view (see "Exploded View", page 25).

Unscrew antenna (19) and microphone.

Open battery compartment (3) and remove batteries or re-
chargeable batteries.

Remove one screw of the hinge (2), and remove the bat-
tery compartment cover (3) by pulling out the other hinge
to the side.

Use the Lemo tool to remove the ring nuts at the micro-
phone and antenna sockets (13/14).
5
Remove the cheese head screws (12) in the battery com-
partment.
6
Carefully remove the battery compartment and the PCB
assy from the housing by pushing them out at the sockets
(13/14). Carefully separate battery compartment and PCB
assy. The connecting PCB foil cannot be removed.

On the RF PCB (16) remove two cross-recessed screws
(15) at the microphone socket.
8
On the AF PCB remove two cross-recessed screws (15) at
the antenna socket.
9
Separate the PCBs.
4.3
ALIGNMENT
For repair or preliminary alignment the PCB assy has to be re-
moved from the housing (see "Disassembly").
4.3.1
PREPARATIONS

Connect PCBs to the 10-pin extender cable.
2
Connect M-SK 50 AF test adapter to the microphone so-
cket.
3
Connect M-SK 50 RF test adapter to the antenna socket.
4
Set power supply to 2.4 V (current limiter 500 mA).
5
Connect power supply to the contact springs on the left
side of the battery compartment.
6
Set S3 sensitivity switch (GAIN) to position 3.
7
Determine the center frequency (fce).

Use the S2 channe! selector switch (Channel) to select the
channel closest to this frequency.
