TheraBeans
• Place the case with the TheraBeans® stable and slipfree and look for
a suitable exercise position.
• According to the desired exercise: Sink your arm or leg so deeply into the
TheraBeans® that the forearm is at leastshortly above the elbow or the
lower-leg one hand below the knee covered with beans and stay this deep
within the whole ecercise.
• Please cover and protect wounded or irritated parts of your skin.
• Children below the age of three must not work in or with the TheraBeans®
without monitoring.
Muscle-Exercises Foot - Extension/Flexion
movement:
Repeatedly lift up and press down
your back of the foot.
time:
approx. 15 min.
Muscle-Exercises Hand - Extension/Flexion
movement:
Repeatedly lift up your hand and
press down again. Make a fist when
pressing down, extend and spread
your fingers when lifting up. Alter-
natively rotate your arm so that
your hand stands sideways (the
thumb looking upward)!
Muscle-Exercises Foot - Rotation
movement:
Lift up your foot and make a
complete
circular
movement.
Extend your foot in the inward
rotation (supination), in outward
rotation (pronation) lift your foot.
Muscle-Exercises Foot - Combined Motion
movement:
Do not lift your foot! "Walk"sideways
in the beans from left to the right an
back. Only move your foot, do not
push with the lower leg (dangerous
overload)!

Exercises
• Always start the exercises slowly and get accustomed to the movement
and the resistance (warm-up).
• Never work into the pain, always remain within your personal range of
tolerance - dangerous overload is thus avoided reliably.
• Slowly increase the intensity of the exercises (velocity/range of motion)
to your personal maximum possible strength and work out until you are
no longer able to execute the movement properly of your muscles are ex
hausted.
• Finish the exercise and do not start again before having a relevant break -
5 to 8 hours normally sufficient.
Muscle-Exercises Foot - Pronation/Supination
movement:
Sligthly lift up your foot
and move in semicircle
from outside towards inside.
Lift up your foot in out-
ward movement (prona-
tion) and press down in in-
ward motion (supination).
Muscle-Exercises Hand - Pronation/Supination
movement:
Rotate your hand and fore-
arm out and inward (looking
"into"the fist = supination, loo-
king "onto" the back of the hand
= pronation).
Extend and spread your fingers
in inward rotation, make a fist at
outward rotation.
Sensomotor Exercises
• Grab just one particular bean (with your hand or foot)
• You determine a certain number of beans (up to 40 pieces). Try to grab these at once and control the result.
• Differentiate between the two sizes of beans. Then grab alternately just the big or small ones only or follow
