Description
The rain and wind automatic consists of a control unit and a wind
and rain sensor. It is used for the automatic control of 230 V motors
for windows, domes and awning blinds as well as for controlling the
ventilation.
The control electronics are equipped with 4 potential-free change-over
contacts (for 4 motor groups) with a contact rating of 230 V AC / 5 A /
50 Hz each.
In the event of wind and/or rain, all 4 change-over contacts are
switched simultaneously from normally closed (N/C) contact to
normally open (N/O) contact. The connected motors move to the
CLOSED position or to their idle state.
Wind trigger threshold, drop-out delay and test setting are set on a
4-pole DIP switch on the printed circuit board.

Operation/ Function
Change-over switch "All groups CLOSED / Automatic" in the
Automatic position
The 2-colour diagnostic LED shows a continuous green light. Each group
can be operated manually with a ventilation switch.
Wind-triggered actuation
When triggered by the wind sensor, all motors close. The 2-colour
diagnostic LED flashes red. The wind speed at which the wind sensor is
actuated is settable.
Note: The ventilation switches are blocked as long as the wind sensor is
actuated. Depending on your settings, the wind sensor will be reset
10 or 20 minutes after the last sensor actuation.
