Kopfhhérer-Anschluss
Am Kopthérer-Anschluss PHONES (2) kann
ein Stereo-Kopthérer angeschlossen werden.
Bei vorgeschaltetem Digital-FIM-Tuner-
Vorverstérker A720 ist die Signalspannung an
den Kopfhérer-Anschiissen beider Gerate iden-
tisch, wenn die Pegelregier (6) und (2) des
Verstarkers auf Stellung —15 dB stehen.

Modulometer
Die Modulometer (@) (linker Kanai) und (9)
{rechter Kanal) besitzen die Daten eines profes-
sionellen Spitzenwertmessers. Die lineare Skala
reicht von ~40.dB bis + 6 dB. Die 0 d8-Anzeige
entspricht einer Ausgangsleistung von 100 W an
4Onm Belastung. Die Ausgangsisistung fur
4 Ohm Impedanz ist ausserdem auf der Instru-
mentenskala in roter Schrift angebracht. Nach
Einschalten das Verstérkers schaltet die Skelen-
beleuchtung
ein
und
die
Instrumentenanzeige
{allt von 0.dB auf ~40 dB sofern kein Signal am
Verstarker-Eingang ansteht,

Headphone jack
The jack (2) marked PHONES is provided for
the connection of stereophonic headphones.
If the Revox A720 digital FM tuner/pre-
amplifier is used as @ signal source, then the
voltage appearing on the jack PHONES will be
identical with that on the headphone output of
the A720 when the input attenuators oF and
are set to their —15 dB position.

Peak program meters
The peak program meters (8) (left channel} and
(right channel} fully conform to the appli-
cable specifications for peak program meters.
"Their linear scale ranges from —40d8 up to
+ 5B. The dB mark corresponds to a power
output
of 100 watts into 4 ohms. The sbeolute
power fevels for a 4.ohms load are marked in
red on the meter scales. When switching on the
electric currant to the amplifier, the meters be-
come
internally
illuminated and — provided
there
is no
signal apoearing
at the amplifier's
inputs — the pointers will drop from 0.d8 to the
40. dB mark.

When installing the stereo power emplifier
Revox A740 into furniture ete. make sure thet
suificient air can circulate to prevent over-
heating.
A minimum spacing of 3/16 inch bet-
ween the heat sinks and any side panels plus @
ventilating slot, 3/4 inch wide, on the ampli-
fier's top side, will ensure adequate convection
cooing.
Important:
If various equipments ere to be installed on top
of each
other,
place those which give off the
least amount of heat towards the bottom.

se fasse librement pour éviter que l'appareil ne
chaufte exagérément.
Des especes libres de 5 mm sur les cotés
et de 20mm au-dessus de Mappareil sont suf-
fisants pour une aération correcte de lampli-
ficateur.
