Resetting the scale
Reset the scale to its default settings if unusual or obviously incorrect values are shown
on the display.
1. Remove the battery from the battery compartment and wait a moment.
2. Re-insert the battery.
Pay attention to the correct polarity of the battery (+/-). The plus pole (+) must
point upwards.
After switching on the scale, you can start weighing as usual.
Cleaning
NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
− Do not under any circumstances use harsh, scouring or abrasive
cleaning agents or the like to clean the scale. Otherwise, the surface
could be scratched.
The scale should be cleaned immediately after use, especially after its contact with fat,
spices, vinegar and other strongly flavoured and/or coloured foodstuffs.
− Wipe the scale as needed with a slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid contact with citric
acid.

‚ Is the battery empty or inserted
improperly?
‚ Is the scale located on a firm, even surface?
‚ Is there any device in the vicinity of the
scale that can cause electromagnetic
disturbances?
‚ Remove the battery from the scale and wait
a moment. Reinsert the battery.
‚ The maximum capacity of the scale (5 kg)
has been exceeded.
‚ The battery is empty (see "Inserting/
changing the battery").
