CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION: Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the
environment where the appliance is used or stored, can grow in the water
reservoir and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks when the
water isnot renewed and the tank is not cleaned properly every 3 days
ATTENTION: Empty the tank and refill every third day. Before refilling, clean it
with fresh tap water or cleaning agents if required by the manufacturer.
Remove any scale, deposits, or film that has formed on the sides of the tank or
on interior surfaces, and wipe all surfaces dry
ATTENTION: if humidifier is not cleaned as recommended, you may experience
some growth of algae or bacteria. These microorganisms may become
airborne.
Note: On occasion the Water Tank may need to be wiped down or cleaned to
remove build-up of impurities with a mild detergent and cool water.
ATTENTION: Do not use gasoline, thinners, solvents or other chemicals for
cleaning. The unit may not produce mist at low gear if there is too much dirt in
the water reservoir. After cleaning the dirt, you can use it normally. Please do
not let water flow into the air outlet during cleaning to avoid damaging your
humidifier.
ATTENTION:If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
