siton.
Pocket &Round Cutting
1. When starting a cut from the center of a work piece,
drill a 12mm diameter hole to ensure that there is clea-
rance for the blade.
2. When cutting tight curves, reduce the speed of the saw.
NOTE! You must operate the tool very slowly when cutting
curves or scrolling to prevent slanted cutting surfaces and
blade breakage.
Cutting metal
1. When cutting metals, a suitable cooling/cutting oil must
be used.
2. Apply lubricant onto the blade or work piece at regular
intervals during cutting in order to reduce wear on the
blade.
Cutting Orbital or Straight
The saw works with 4 cutting actions: 1 straight and 3 orbi-
tals. Orbital action has a more aggressive blade motion, and
is designed for cutting in soft materials like wood or plastic.
It provides a faster cutting, but with a rougher cut across the
material. The blade moves forward during the cutting stroke
in addition to the up and down motion.

NOTE! Metal or hardwoods should never be cut in orbital
action.
To adjust the cutting action, move
the pendulum cutting knob:
• Position 0: straight cutting.
• Position 1/2/3: orbital cuts (in
ascendant order of aggressi-
veness of the cut).
MAINTENANCE
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery pack is removed from the tool before attemp-
ting to perform inspection or maintenance.
Regularly clean the tool's air vents with compressed
dry air. Do not attempt to clean by inserting pointed
objects through openings.
Do not use cleaning agents to clean the plastic parts
of the tool, a mild detergent on a damp cloth is recom-
mended instead.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintai-
ned tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to
bind and are easier to control.
