INSTRUCTION MANUAL
PRODUCT'S PRESENTATION
This tool is designed to perform cutting tasks in a wide
variety of materials and can be used for multiple appli-
cations. Its design allows a fast and convenient blade
change by means of its toolless collet sleeve, as well
as a variable cutting speed to better adapt to the ope-
ration to be performed. Moreover, it comes equipped
with a wood cutting saw blade and a metal cutting saw
blade.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all ins-
tructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instruc-
tions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
• Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches
and any other conditions that may affect its ope-
ration.
• Do not operate the tool in the presence of flam-
mable liquids, gases or dust.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry and tighten long hair.
• Avoid an accidental starting. Disconnect the bat-
tery from the tool and place the switch in the loc-
ked or off position before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing the tool.
• Keep the tool and its handle dry, clean and free
from oil and grease.
• Always wear eye and respiratory protection.
• Hold the tool by the insulated grip surface when
performing an operation where the tool may come
in contact with the hidden wiring. Contact with a
"live" wire will make exposed metal parts of the
tool "live" and shock the operator.
• Make sure all keys and adjusting wrenches are re-
moved from the tool before switching it on to avoid
them to fly away at high velocity.
• Never start the saw with the blade contacting any
surface to prevent the tool to bounce and avoid
any body injury.
• Always let the tool to stop completely before pu-
tting it down, otherwise, it is likely to jerk when it
contacts any surface.
• Never use a cracked or distorted saw blade. Only
use sharp blades.
• Never use your hands to remove sawdust, chips
or waste near the blade.
• Do not attempt to free a jammed blade before first
switching off the machine. Do not slow or stop a
blade with a piece of wood or other objects.
ASSEMBLY
Installing and removing saw blades
To remove an old blade, turn the toolless collet sleeve
by hand anticlockwise until you can pull the blade out.
To install a new blade:
1. Turn the collet sleeve anticlockwise to its end by
hand.
2. Insert the new blade into the collet as far as it will
go.
3. Release the collet sleeve and lightly pull the blade
outwards to make sure it is locked in place.
Shoe adjustment
This tool is equipped with a quick wrench system,
which allows a fast and convenient shoe adjustment:
1. Pull the lever at the underside the front rubber grip
outwards.
2. Pull or push the shoe to a desired position.
3. Pull the lever inwards to the initial position to se-
curely fix the shoe.
NOTE! Never use the saw if the shoe is not installed.
OPERATION
Switching On/Off
To turn it on, push the lock-off button to either side of
the tool and slowly depress the trigger switch.
To turn it off, fully release the trigger switch.
NOTE! The trigger switch can be used as a variable
speed control mechanism. The higher the pressu-
re on the trigger switch, the higher will be the cutting
speed, while light pressure on the trigger results in a
low speed.
General cutting
1. Check the saw blade is free from any material or
dirt which may affect its functioning.
2. Hold the material to be cut firmly. Small work pie-
ces should be securely clamped in a vise or clam-
ped to the work bench.
3. Draw a cutting line into the material.
4. Hold the saw firmly in front and clearly away from
