Installation, changing the battery. Internal unit:
Plug the internal unit into the mains power supply. The appliance signals its functioning with two short tones and the LED on the fascia.
Push button:
When installing, remove the plastic foil on the push button. Press the button. The bell sounds and at the same time it stores the push button's unique code. To
change the battery, first remove the transparent cover over the nameplate, then with a screwdriver push and prise out the back cover. Change the battery
(CR2032) making sure the polarities are correctly positioned.
Registration, deletion of additional push buttons
The appliance has 256 different digital codes. The codes are randomly generated in the push button when the battery is inserted. The internal unit is able to memorize a
maximum 4 of these. Codes stored in the memory are not lost in a power outage. If you want to register additional push buttons in the internal unit, hold down the "CODE"
button on the side of the internal unit (1-2 seconds) until you hear a short tone. You then have approximately 5 seconds to press the push button you wish to register.
When the registration time is finished (approx. 5 seconds) the appliance gives a long tone. Repeat the process to register further push buttons. In order to delete
registered push buttons do the following: disconnect the internal unit from the power supply. Wait a few seconds, and then while holding down the "CODE" button
continuously reconnect to the mains power supply. Keep holding down the "CODE" button is until you hear a long tone. At this point all the codes in the memory are
deleted.
Selecting a melody
There is a small button inside the push button, next to the battery. The required melody can be selected using this button. The bell can play 8 different
melodies; each time you push the button a different melody plays. The bell will store and use the melody played last. A different melody can be selected for
each push button.
Adjusting the volume
The bell volume can be adjusted using the (VOLUME) regulator on the back plate of the bell.
