Settings
By default, the device automatically enables the
connectors on the dock when it is connected.
If you need to change settings (i.e. specifying
the audio output device), open Getac Settings
of the device, go to the Docking or Dock item,
and set accordingly. (For settings information,
see Z710 or ZX70 User Manual.)
Safety Instructions
•
Always start the engine of the car before
connecting the cigarette plug. Always unplug
from the cigarette lighter before stopping
the engine.
•
Do not insert any foreign object in any I/O port.
•
To protect the docking connector against short
circuits, never allow conductive objects (except
Z710/ZX70 itself) to contact the docking con-
nector of the dock.
•
Do not attempt to make connections if there
is any object between the tablet and the
dock. Doing so could damage the tablet and
the dock.
•
Do not attempt to move the dock when it is
connected to the tablet.
•
If the tablet malfunctions while the dock is
connected, turn off the tablet and disconnect
the dock. Connect the AC adapter to the tablet
and check to see if the tablet operates nor-
mally. If the tablet operates normally, the
dock may be malfunctioning.
•
Do not place metal objects or containers of
liquid on top of the dock. If metal objects
(such as paper clips and coins) or any liquid
spills get inside the dock, fire or electric shock
may result. Immediately unplug the power
cable and remove the tablet from the dock.
•
Unplug the power cord and remove the
tablet from the dock if any of the following
occurs:
– the dock is damaged
– smoke is emitted
– an unusual smell is emitted
– the dock is unusually hot
Continuing to use the dock while any of the
above conditions are present may result in
fire or electric shock.
•
Do not place the product on an unsteady sur-
face.
•
Avoid exposing the product to water or an
electric shock may occur.
