Introduction
To get the most out of your new mulled wine warmer, please read through these instructions
before using it. Please also keep the instructions in case you need them again at a later date.

Special safety instructions
The mulled wine warmer is not intended for use by children or persons with physical, sensory
or mental disabilities, or who are unable to operate the kettle, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
Never leave the mulled wine warmer unattended when it is in use. Make sure it is out of the
reach of children and that the cord does not hang over the table or worktop.
Do not immerse the mulled wine warmer in water or other liquids. Do not touch the mulled
wine warmer with wet or damp hands.
The mulled wine warmer must only be used for preparing mulled wine. There must be no solid
food such as sultanas or almonds in the mulled wine.
The liquid level in the mulled wine warmer must be between the MIN and MAX marks when it
is switched on. Do not fill the mulled wine warmer too full. Do not switch on the mulled wine
heater if there is no mulled wine in it.
Make sure the lid is on before heating the mulled wine.
Unplug the mulled wine heater when it is not in use.
Caution. When no more mulled wine comes out of the tap, there is still about 1 litre in the
bottom of the container. This is normal.
Danger of scalding!
The outside of the mulled wine warmer reaches the same temperature as its contents when it
heats up. Do not touch the outside of the mulled wine warmer as this may cause scalding or
burns. Always use the lid handle to lift the lid. Only lift the mulled wine warmer by the handles.
When tapping the mulled wine or lifting the lid, steam may escape from the tap.
Do not let the mulled wine boil!
Let the mulled wine and the mulled wine warmer cool down before emptying, moving or
cleaning them.
