NOTICE!
When your waffle maker is heated for the first
time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal
with many heating appliances. This does not affect
the safety of your appliance.
USE
• It is best to place the appliance on a non-sensitive surface as large amounts
of grease can damage the worktop surface.
• Connect the plug into a socket for preheating the unit. The red power indicator
light then comes on showing that the power is on and the unit begins preheating.
• It takes approximately 2–4 minutes to heat up the unit. The green ready indicator
light comes on when the waffle iron has heated up and then goes on and off as
the thermostat is activated to maintain the correct temperature.
• When the waffle iron is heated up, open the lid and gently pour the waffle mix into
the waffle iron and close the lid.
• Cook for about 2–4 minutes or until golden brown, adjust the time to suit
your own individual taste.
• Remove the waffle with a spatula made of wood or heat-resistant plastic.
Do not use any sharp utensils – they may damage the surface!
• Unplug the appliance and leave unit open to cool down after use.
