Laying connections
All inlet and overflow pipes are to be laid with a gra-
dient of at least 1 % in the direction of flow (possible
subsequent settling must be taken into account).
It is connected to the pre-drilled openings on the
manhole pit or on the tank.
If the tank overflow is connected to a public sewer,
this must be protected against back pressure ac-
cording to DIN 1986 by means of a lifting unit (mixed
sewer) or backwater valve (pure rainwater sewer).
All suction, pressure and control lines must be rout-
ed in an empty pipe, which must be as straight as
possible with a slope to the container without any
deflections. Necessary bends are to be formed with
30° fittings.
Important: The empty pipe is to be connected to an
opening above the max. water level.

The shaft extension can be shortened at the grooves. This allows the soil coverage above the tank shoul-
der to be 400-780 mm.
