RICE COOKER
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
To prevent fi re or electric shock injury, you should always follow basic precautions when using electrical devices, including the following:
1.
Always power the appliance with power of the same voltage, frequency
and required load capacity as marked on the product label.
2. A strict supervision is needed when children or persons with a disability
use the appliance. This appliance is not a children's toy.
3. Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the plug is damaged, if the
appliance fell or was damaged in any way or if it malfunctions. In that case,
return the complete product to the vendor to check, repair or replace it.
4. Do not immerse the product or the power cord in liquids, do not expose it
to rain and wetness and use water only for cooking according to this guide.
5. The appliance may not be used close to water, in bathrooms, in the showers
and close to pools, where it can fall into the water or where water might
splash on it.
6. Do not break the power cable over the edge of the table or any other sharp
edge, do not twist it and do not leave it close to hot surfaces.
7.
Use this product always on a stable surface where it cannot be overturned.
Do not use the product in sinks, dripping off areas and other places with
uneven surface.
8. Do not put the product in places where it can be exposed to high
temperatures from stoves, radiators, gas appliances, etc.
9.
Do not place the product on electric or gas stoves and ovens.
10. Contact with hot surface may case burns. When you handle parts of the
appliance when in operation, use suitable utensils and oven mitts.
11. If you do not use the product, switch it off and unplug it. Before you
dismantle the product for cleaning, let all the parts of the appliance cool
off . Disconnect the power cord by pulling on the plug – never yank the
cable.
12. Never plug the rice cooker in, or switch it on without the cooking vessel

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before fi rst use
•
Carefully unpack the rice cooker and remove all the packaging material and promotional stickers.
•
Wash the cooking vessel and lid in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry.
•
Wipe the body of the cooker with moist cloth or sponge.
WARNING: NEVER SUBMERGE OR IMMERSE THE BODY OF THE COOKER AND THE POWER CORD IN LIQUIDS.
COOKING RICE
Rice is a valuable source of complex carbohydrates containing natural starch. We recommend that
you rinse the rice using cold potable water until it runs clear. This prevents the browning of rice
and its sticking to the bottom part of the vessel, however, it may also cause loss of some rice
nutrients.
1.
Place the cooker on a dry, fl at surface.
2. Using the supplied measuring cup, pour in the required amount of rice (see the table guide).
Always measure an even amount, do not overfi ll the cup(Fig. 1).
3. Put the rice in a separate container and rinse under running water to remove the free starch.

13. Do not fi ll the body of the rice cooker with liquid. Only the cooking vessel
is designed for liquids.
14. ATTENTION: Lift the glass lid carefully, and tilt it in such a way that the
steam is escaping away from you to prevent scalding. Do not let the
water from the lid drip into the body of the cooker, it can drip only into
the cooking vessel.
15. Check the power cord, plug and the whole product for damage regularly.
If you fi nd any damage, immediately discontinue using the product and
return the whole product to the vendor with proof of purchase.
16. Do not use damaged or broken cooking vessel. Replace it before using.
17. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than it is designed for.
18. Do not use outside.
19. The appliance should not be left unattended when in operation.
20. Store the product inside in a dry place.
21. Do not try to repair the product, adjust it or change its parts. The product
does not contain any parts repairable by the user.
22. Before cleaning and storing, let the appliance cool off .
23. Do not place other objects on the appliance, do not let foreign objects enter
its openings and do not use close to the walls, drapes, etc.
24. Attention: When in use, the cooker heats up and the steam is escaping
through the openings in the lid. Do not cover any openings. Do not touch
hot surfaces. Always use handles and buttons.
25. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer or by the
vendor may void the warranty and cause danger to persons or property.
