The device consists of the following elements:
1. Mounting plate
2. Seat
3. Folding tube
4. Leg length adjustment clip
5. Foot
Assembly description
The shower chair should be secured to a wall capable of
supporting the vertical load and leverage affected upon it by
the user. The distance from the floor to the seat should match
that of a regular chair that the user comfortably sits on with
the feet on the ground. The legs and feet should be adjusted
accordingly (described in Function description).
Take 6 bolts, washers and wall plugs (not included). Fit the
mounting plate and mark the position of the six mounting
holes on the wall, make sure they are leveled with the ground.
Drill the holes in the wall and insert the wall plugs. Put the
washers between the plate and the volts, and screw the
mounting plate to the wall tightly. The chair can now be fixed
to the mounting plate with the supplied nuts and washers
attached to the mounting plate. Check that the chair is
correctly mounted by folding and unfolding it a few times.
NOTE: All operations need to be carried out by a capable person. No mounting tools are provided. The choice of
fastening material depends on the condition and types of the wall.
Function description
Adjusting leg length
To adjust the length of a leg, take the leg length adjustment clip out of the leg, slide the leg to the desired setting (in
steps of 2,5 cm) and put the leg length adjusting clip back in the opening. Repeat for the other leg and make sure
both legs are adjusted to the same setting.
Adjusting foot height
To adjust the height of a foot, loosen the locking nut, rotate the foot so that it goes to the desired setting and tighten
the locking nut.
Folding the chair
Grab the front edge of the seat and pull it upwards until it is fully folded. To unfold the chair, pull the same edge of
the seat away from the wall until the legs touch the floor. The legs deploy automatically.
WARNING: Only sit in the center of the seat.
NOTE: The chair can be folded up any time it is not in use to save space.
