OF THE SPEAKERS
The satellitespeakersand the Subwooferare magneticallyshieldedand can thereforebe placed
next to the monitorwithoutdistortingthe display.For optimum sound effectswe recommendthat you placethe
satellite speakers at ear level
Connecting the speakers:
• Makesure that your computerand your speakersystemare switchedoff,
• Connect the satellites as follow:
• Connect bothsatelliteswith the connectingcable (black3.5mmstereo plug) to the subwooferoutput marked
'speaker output
• Then connectyour soundsystem to the soundsource usingthe provided cable.
• Therefore connect the sound source (PC-Soundcard, Mp3-player etc.) using the green 3.5 mm stereo plug.
• Make sure to check the voltage before starting the system.
• Switch on your computer and your sound system.
• Finished.
• Use the button on the cable remote to control the volume.
• The Power switch is located on the backside.

• Thespeakers shouldonlybetransported in theiroriginal p ackaging, orin othersuitable packaging whichprotects
them from jolts and knocks.
• Condensation can arise when speakers are tranferred from a cold environment into a warm room. Allow the
speakersto climatiseto the ambienttemperature,and ensurethat they are absolutelydry. beforethey are used.
• Ensure that the local supply voltage is 230 V/50 Hz.
• Ensure that the mains socket is freely accessible.
• For pluggableequipment,the socket-outletshallbe instailednear the equipmentand shall be easilyaccessible.
• Thespeakers'ON/OFFswitch does NOT disconnectthe speakersfrom the powersupply!The power plug has to be
withdrawn
from the mains socket to disconnect the speakers
• Conduct the cables in such a manner that they cannot become a hazard (tripping) or be damaged. Observe the
corresponding remarks in the instructions when connecting the speakers.
• Do not use the speakers in moist rooms.
• Theapparatusshall not be exposedto drippingor splashing.No objectsfilled with liquidsShallbe placedon the
apparatus.
• Ensurethat no objects(e.g. metal paperclips, etc.)or liquidscan enter the interiorof the speakers(electric shock,
short circuit).
• Immediatelyswitchoff the speakersand disconnectthem from the mainsin emergencies(e.g. damageto speaker
case, controls or power supply line, or in the event of foreign bodies or liquids entering the speakers).
• Any repair work must be carried out only by qualified and authorized technicians.
• Immediately switch off the speakers and disconnect them from the mains in emergencies (e.g. damage to speaker
case, controls or power supply line, or in the event of foreign bodies or liquids entering the speakers).
