7. Maintenance and servicing
7.1
General provisions
1. The user of the storage cabinet must perform
a visual check on a regular basis, at least
once a week, to ensure that the stored lithium
batteries are undamaged and that the closing
mechanism of the cabinet doors is undamaged
and that the smoke seals are intact.
2. All essential components must be checked an-
nually, in particular the closing mechanism of
all the doors, the full function of the ventilation
openings and the visibility of the type plate. In
the case of intensive use, all components must
also be checked during the year.
3. The annual inspection can also be carried out
for you by CEMO. Please contact us about the
CEMO maintenance plan.
4. The functional check on the smoke detector
must be carried out at least once a year by
pressing the test button. The smoke detector is
battery operated (2 x AA batteries). The batter-
ies must be replaced periodically. The smoke
detector will emit an audible signal when this is
required. Separate operating instructions are
provided.
