3 – OPERATION
XBA7 is an indicator light that uses white LEDs . It can be used as a flashing signaller or
a courtesy light, depending on the settings in the control unit that XBA7 is connected to.
The product is equipped with orange filters for use as a flashing signaller.
XBA8 (for MBAR/LBAR only) is an indicator light that uses red and green LEDs; its oper-
ation is managed by the control unit it is connected to. It can work in two modes by
changing the jumpers:
Possible configurations and operating modes:
• configuration 1 (factory setting), see fig. 1: for this mode the function "One-way traffic
light" or "Red traffic light" or "Green traffic light" must be active on the control unit (fig. 2/3).
• configuration 2 see fig. 4: with this mode, the function "Two-way traffic light" only can
be programmed (fig. 5).

Important warnings
Attention! – Before changing the position of the jumpers, disconnect the mains power.
