STORAGE
Store the device in a dry, dark place at room temperature.
Remove batteries for long term storage (e.g., over the summer).
SERVICE
A beacon is a safety product which is exposed to extreme conditions such as freezing
temperatures and humidity. Furthermore, component parts are subject to aging. PIEPS
recommends sending avalanche transceivers in for service at 3 years and 5 years after
the date of purchase, and every year after that. For more information visit pieps.com.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The manufacturer is responsible for the materials and workmanship of the PIEPS
PRO IPS for two years from the date of purchase. Exceptions are the batteries,
carrying system and hand loop as well as any damage caused by improper use or
dismantling of the unit by unauthorized persons. Any other warranties and liability
for consequential damage are expressly excluded. For warranty claims, please take
proof of purchase to the place of sale.
