1. Remove the cross member to access the air filter housing. (Fig. 1)
2. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the intake tube from the air filter housing. (Fig. 2)
3. Loosen the hose clamp and remove intake tube from the vehicle. (Fig. 3)
4. Unclip the air filter housing and remove the paper air filter from the air filter housing. (Fig. 4)
5. Fit the K&N air filter into the air filter housing and refit the original air filter housing lid. (Fig. 5)
6. Fit the provided silicone sleeve onto the air filter housing using the hose clamps supplied. (Fig. 6)
7. Fit the new K&N intake tube into the turbo inlet hose using the original hose clamp (do not fully tighten the hose
clamp at this point). (Fig. 7)
8. Fit the new K&N intake tube into the air box sleeve (do not fully tighten the hose clamp at this point). (Fig. 8)
9. Align the intake assembly for proper clearance on all sides and secure all hose clamps. Refit the cross member. (Fig. 9)
WARNING: Before starting the engine carry out a final fitment check of the K&N performance kit. It will be necessary for kits to be
checked periodically for realignment, clearance and tightening of all connections. Failure to follow the instructions or proper maintenance
may void the warranty.
FILTER MAINTENANCE: K&N suggests checking the filter periodically for excessive dirt build-up. When the element becomes covered in
dirt (or once a year), service it according to the instructions on the service kit available from your K&N dealer, part number 99-5000EU
