3.3 Electrical installation
3.3.1 Connect the sensor cables and digital extension cable
This document shows how to connect a GS1440 or GS2440EX sensor that is installed in a non-
hazardous location to a CDx440sc gateway.
1. Connect the Power/4–20 mA sensor cable (3-wires) to the "POWER" terminal. Refer to

on page 14 .
2. Connect the RS-232 sensor cable (4-wires) to the "RS232" terminal. Refer to
Figure 8
on page 14.
3. Connect the supplied digital extension cable to the gateway. Refer to
