Position rotator (1) in yoke of crane jib suspension (4).
Insert pin (5) and secure (see crane instruction manual).

Place adapter (6) in the load attachment (2). Insert four bolts (3) (M16, 8.8) with new self-locking
nuts, tighten to 210Nm (155 lbf.ft.).

Operate the crane to position the rotator above the load attachment.
Lower the spigot into the adapter.

Insert fixing pin (7) and secure with a new ring clip.
Note
All hydraulic hoses should be kept as short as possible without introducing strain.

Clean the hydraulic connections.
Connect the „clockwise„ hydraulic line to port Y1.

Connect the „anti-clockwise" hydraulic line to port Y2.

Connect the hydraulic lines for operating the load attachment (crane side) to inlet ports X.

Connect hydraulic lines between outlet ports Z and load attachment.

Operate the controls for the rotator and the load attachment in turn, holding each for
about three seconds.
There must be no leakage of hydraulic fluid, tighten the connections if necessary.
3.1.5 Removing a spigot-type rotator
see illustration in para. 3.1.4.

Lower the attachment onto a suitable surface.

Switch off the hydraulic pump and move the controls several times in each direction to release
the pressure in the system.

Clean the hydraulic connections to the rotator, unscrew them, and insert blanking caps in the
ports.

Remove the fixing pin securing the rotator spigot to the adapter.
Remove the upper suspension pin attaching the rotator to the crane jib yoke.
Take off the rotator.
3.1.6 Removing and replacing seal assembly

Clean the motor thoroughly before dismantling it.

Hold the motor upside down in a vice (with the head (1)
pointing downwards).

Unscrew and remove cheese-head screws (2).
In the case of motors with a flange plate, only two screws
can be unscrewed at a time. The flange plate must be
rotated by hand to expose the next screw holes.
