Top reasons to buy Minx
Minx is small and stylish, yet delivers the sound of much larger speakers. Here are 10 reasons
to choose the Cambridge Audio Minx over other speaker systems...
Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) technology
1
Thanks to BMR technology, Minx is ultra-small and
discreet, yet sounds like a traditional box speaker.
Unlike other style systems, which display obvious
separation between the source of bass and higher
frequencies, Minx sounds truly integrated for the
purest possible sound.
Jaw dropping performance!
2
The Min 12 measures just 8cm square, but thanks to
its 2.25" BMR driver, it delivers power and refinement
that defies its size. However, even with the addition
of a dedicated woofer, the Min 22 satellite still only
stands 15cm tall and delivers even greater depth and
dynamics and instantly reveals its muscle as soon as
the music begins.
Easy to position
3
The BMR driver technology used in Minx gives the
system an incredibly wide dispersion of sound.
This allows Minx to be placed almost anywhere in the
room and still sound fantastic wherever you may be
sitting.
No cable spaghetti
4
Unlike Bose, Minx features traditional speaker and
subwoofer connections, meaning that you can use
standard speaker and subwoofer cables of your
choosing rather than having to put up with yards of
cheap, unwanted umbilical cable.
Powerful subwoofers
5
The X201 and X301 subwoofers feature a powerful
DSP design allowing the subwoofers real-time control
of equalisation and dynamic range processing. This
achieves the maximum possible output and sound
quality from the subwoofer and prevents the drivers
going into overload and distortion.
Powerful yet discreet
6
Each Minx subwoofer also uses an innovative driver
plus an ABR (Auxiliary Bass Radiator) system rather
than having either an enclosed box (which would
require even more power) or a ported design (which
would require a bigger cabinet). The result of this is
two extremely efficient and very powerful subwoofers
housed in tiny cabinets.

MIN 12/22 & X201/301
True hi-fi credentials
7
Both Minx subwoofers offer full rear panel control
of 'gain', 'phase' and 'crossover frequency', unlike
many other style subwoofers which give little or no
adjustment in these areas.
High quality speaker terminals
8
Unlike many style speaker packages which use low
quality spring clips or custom cabling, Minx offers
universal connection to any home cinema receiver or
amplifier with an ingenious speaker terminal design,
which can be removed to support 4mm banana plugs.
Versatile mounting options
9
Any room, anywhere: Minx's versatile mounting
options include flat and pivot wall mounts, adjustable
floor stands and desktop mounts.
Limitless options
10
Minx's modular system can be customised and
added to, whatever you need. Whether you need
a 2.1 or 11.2 speaker system, thanks to a range of
and speakers and subwoofers in different sizes and
colours, there is no limit to the combinations you can
create for your perfect system.
