BIOS
1.
Set jumper J1 to position ON.
2.
Turn on the computer, the BIOS on the controller card is executed.
3.
Press Ctrl-R to enter into BIOS menu.
4.
Choose "Select Configure Controller" in the Main menu. Confirm with "enter".
5.
Choose "Create RAID1".
6.
Now type "Y" to confirm or "N" to cancel and confirm the entry with "enter".
Then the configuration is started.
7.
After completion, the message "Mode Change is completed" appears.
8.
Press "Esc" to exit.
9.
Set jumper J1 to position OFF.
Windows
1.
Set jumper J1 to position ON.
2.
Put the driver CD in the CD ROM drive.
3.
Open Windows Explorer, select: CD-drive\SATA6G\ASM 1062R\GUI\
RaidManager_V3.130\RaidManagerTool.exe.
4.
Choose the drive and select RAID 1.
5.
Then click on "execute". After that the RAID will be set up.
6.
Shut down the PC.
7.
Set jumper J1 to position OFF.
