Safety notes for operating the motor
- Whenever you are installing or otherwise handling the motor or speed control-
ler, be sure to observe the instructions supplied with those units.
- It is also important to study the instructions provided with the LiPo battery
before using them for the first time.
- Whenever you are working on the model - making adjustments, carrying out
maintenance etc. - keep well clear of the rotational plane of the propeller, as
it constitutes an injury hazard. Do not let anybody stand in front of the model
when the engine is running.
DISPOSAL
This symbol means that it is essential to dispose of electrical and elec-
tronic equipment separately from the domestic refuse when it reaches the
end of its useful life. Take your unwanted equipment to your local com-
munal collection point or recycling centre. This applies to all countries of
the European Union, and to other European countries with separate waste
collection systems.

ROXXY sans balais à induit externe
®
Nouveau moteur sans balais 14 pôles ROXXY® à induit externe de
la série D, avec trois roulements à billes. Pour améliorer la concentri-
cité et la précision, la série D des moteurs est équipée d'un troisième
roulement à billes à diamètre réduit. Ceci évite les problèmes de clo-
che d'embrayage sous charge et assure une rotation en souplesse
du moteur. Du fait de leur construction, ces moteurs n'exigent pas
de mécanisme. Il s'agit d'un moteur au couple très puissant avec un
rendement élevé et une palette de performances étendue lui permet-
tant d'entraîner de grandes hélices.
Exemple d'application
Pour motoplaneurs jusqu'à approx. 3200 g
Maquettes et modèles de sport jusqu'à approx. 2500 kg
Pour les modèles de voltige et de 3-D jusqu'à approx. 1800 g
Consignes de mise en place
- Choisissez la longueur des vis de fixation en sorte qu'elles ne
puissent endommager l'intérieur du moteur. Afin que les vis ne se
desserrent pas de manière intempestive, appliquez un produit de
freinage des filets (Loctite 648). Le produit de freinage des filets
ne doit en aucun cas s'écouler dans les roulements à billes.
- Veillez à ce que la cloche de l'induit externe tourne librement.
- N'utilisez pas d'hélices d'entraînement endommagées.
- Veillez à ce que l'intérieur du moteur ne soit pas souillé par des
impuretés, de l'eau ou des particules métalliques.
- Si le sens de rotation du moteur n'est pas correct, intervertir deux
des trois connexions du variateur.
