Inserting/replacing battery (IR remote control)
Replace the battery when the remote control's range decreases or when the product
no longer responds to IR remote control commands. Proceed as follows to insert a
battery:
• Push the battery holder locking lever to the right and simultaneously pull the battery holder
out of the IR remote control completely.
• Insert a new button cell battery, type CR2025, into the battery holder. The positive pole must
face up (see "+" imprint on the battery).
• Replace the battery holder into the IR remote control and make sure that the locking lever
clicks into place.
Installation
• Slide the rail located on the back of the monitor from the top down onto the small metal plate
of the foot. Secure the connection using the locking wheel.
• Loosen the wing screw to tilt the monitor. Then retighten the wing screw.
• The foot can be mounted to different surfaces. Installation to the bottom of a shelf or to the
wall is also supported.
The foot can be mounted to surfaces using 2 screws and 2 dowels.
The adhesive surface on the bottom of the foot may only be used for fixing the
monitor on a desk. The adhesive surface is not suitable for mounting the monitor to
a wall, ceiling, or similar.
When tightening screws or drilling holes, make sure not to damage any cables or
piping.
Connection
• The monitor features a fixed connection cable with the following input sockets:
AV input 1
Yellow BNC socket VIDEO1 IN for analog video signal
White RCA socket AUDIO1 IN for analog audio signal
AV input 2
Yellow BNC socket VIDEO2 IN for analog video signal
White RCA socket AUDIO2 IN for analog audio signal
VGA input
15-pin VGA socket for analog VGA video signal
Power connector
Black, circular low-voltage socket
• Connect your devices (e.g. surveillance camera, DVR) to the respective inputs of the monitor.
• Connect the cable of the mains adapter to the power connector of the monitor.
• Connect the mains adapter to a proper wall socket.

Repeatedly press the button to mirror and/or rotate the
image.
Always point the remote control at the IR receiver located on the right from the on/
off switch on the monitor.
b) Menu settings
Repeatedly press the MENU button to navigate through the menu. The following settings are
available:
AV1 / AV2
Brightness → Contrast → Color → Volume → TCON (mirror the picture horizontally/vertically)
→ Language → Reset
VGA
Brightness → Contrast → HPOSITION (horizontal picture position) → VPOSITION (vertical
picture position) → AUTO CONFIG (automatically adjust the picture) → TCON (mirror the
picture horizontally/vertically) → Language → Reset
Using the reset function will restore all default settings (except: language).
If not pressing any button for approx. 5 seconds, the product will return to normal
playback mode. Any settings adjusted prior to that will be saved.
Cleaning and care
• Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the connected devices and unplug the power
adapter from the power outlet.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
• Do not apply too much pressure on the display in order to avoid scratching. Apart from that,
the display glass could break.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
(rechargeable) batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
