1 Introduction
With the Sandberg Bluetooth Link for iPhone
Dock (referred to as the "receiver"), you can
wirelessly connect your tablet PC, mobile
phone, PC, PlayStation 3 or other audio
device with built-in Bluetooth to an
iPod/iPhone speaker dock. Simply attach the
Sandberg Bluetooth Link for iPhone Dock
to the iPod/iPhone socket in your speaker
dock, and the music signal is then received
wirelessly via Bluetooth. The receiver is
powered by the dock via the socket, and is
switched on and off together with your dock.
2 Connection
Simply place the receiver down over the
socket in your speaker dock, where you
would normally place your iPod/iPhone. The
receiver must have the logo facing outwards
towards you, with the blue LED facing to
the right.

3 Pairing with Bluetooth devices

If the receiver is not already connected to
a Bluetooth device, it is always pairing-
enabled and does not have to be set to
pairing mode in order to connect to a new
device.
While the receiver is switched on (and not
connected to a previous Bluetooth device),
you must have pairing mode activated on
the Bluetooth device that you want to
connect to the receiver. The procedure for
this varies, so check the manual for the
device in question for a detailed description
of this.
The following guidelines generally apply to
the pairing procedure:
1. Place the receiver and Bluetooth device
within a secure range of 2–3 metres.
2. Activate the pairing function on the
Bluetooth device, e.g. "search for
Bluetooth devices".
3. The name of the receiver will appear on
the list with the name "BTML-110".
4. If you are asked for a password or PIN
code, use "0000" (four zeros).
5. Once the devices are connected, the blue
LED in the receiver will flash every 5
seconds.
NB: When pairing is done for the first time,
the devices will usually remember each other
and connect automatically when they are
switched on and within close range. On
some mobile phones you have to manually
choose to transmit audio playback via
Bluetooth. See the phone's manual for more
details.
Each time the receiver is switched on, it will
automatically attempt to connect to the last
connected device. If you want to connect a
different Bluetooth device, turn off the
Bluetooth function on the first device. Then
follow the pairing instructions for the new
device as described above.
If the connection is lost between the devices
when you move outside the range, it will
automatically reconnect as soon as you
move back into the range.
If your Bluetooth device uses Bluetooth
version 2.1 or higher, there will be no need
for a PIN code when pairing.
Note that your Bluetooth device must
support Bluetooth with A2DP/AADP in order
to work with this receiver.
