5. The Battery
The following section explains the key features of our battery pack and lists the care instructions. Carefully read the care instructions and
observe them.
Important care instructions
To ensure the longest possible life of the MODSTER M250, the following points must be observed:
•
Use only the supplied or integrated rechargeable battery or original spare parts.
•
Charge the battery only with the original charger supplied by the manufacturer.
•
Do not carry out any repairs on the battery or charger.
•
Always charge the battery completely before you use the wheelboard for a longer period of time.
•
Fully charge the battery every two months if you have not used the wheelboard. Storing without sporadic charge can damage the battery
over time.
•
Store the battery at temperatures between 10 ° C and 30 ° Celsius.
•
Never run the MODSTER M250 without a connected battery as this will destroy the entire electronics.
•
Charge the battery only with the supplied charger and only at temperatures between 0 and 45 ° Celsius.
•
Never charge the battery unattended.
•
When charging the battery, be sure to have a proper plug connection, adequate ventilation, and a dry environment.
•
Never place the charger, power cord, or power cord in contact with water, as there is a risk of electric shock. Do not touch with wet hands.
•
Perform periodic checks of the plug and charger. Have them replaced in case of damage in order to avoid injury and property damage.
•
Mains and connecting cables must not be damaged or squeezed by sharp edges or heat.
•
Do not operate the charger if the charger, power cord or connection cable is damaged. Never store the MODSTER M250 in the unloaded
state as this can lead to a complete destruction! Charge the battery every 2 months when not in use.

Notes regarding disposal
With the MODSTER M250 you already contribute to environmental protection. Also pay attention to your environment when disposing of it
and observe the following notes:
•
Dispose of the MODEST Style and the associated components (eg rechargeable battery) only at an approved disposal company or via the
municipal waste disposal facility.
•
Observe the current regulations. If in doubt, consult your disposal facility for environmentally sound disposal.
The symbol at the end indicates the prohibition of disposal via household waste. Batteries are also marked with the
designation for the heavy metal: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead (designation stands on battery / battery, for
example, under the symbol on the left). You can dispose of your used batteries / accumulators free of charge at the col-
lection points of your municipality or wherever batteries are sold. They fulfill the statutory obligations and contribute
to environmental protection.
Batteries and electrical appliances must not get into household refuse!

The MODSTER M250 has a range of 15 - 20 kilometers, which is a guideline for a 60 kilogram driver. Ultimately, the range is strongly dependent
on various factors. The factors have a decisive influence on the range: Profile of the track (hilly or flat), own power of the driver, flooring, outside
temperature, driver's weight.
