· Use a thin layer of vegetable oil on the baking surface. This will prevent sticking and cleaning after use
will be easier.
· Place the unit preferably on a surface that is easy to clean. The surface should also be heat-resistant.
Do not place the appliance on an untreated wooden surface.
· Make sure that there is enough ventilation around the appliance.
· If necessary, plug the end of the power cord in the socket of the appliance. Make sure that the
appliance is switched off. Plug into an earthed socket.
USE
SETTING OF TEMPERATURE
· You can set the temperature of the appliance as required. The temperature
ranges from minimum (MIN) to maximum (MAX). A mid-way temperature is
recommended.
· This switch is also the 'on' switch, and MIN is the off position.
· Turn the temperature regulator to the required position.
· The red indicator light will light up when the appliance is plugged in to show that the appliance is
receiving power. The blue indicator light lights up when you set the temperature to show that the
appliance is in operation.
BAKING TRAY
1. Make sure that the applliance is switched off (position MIN). Plug
into an earthed socket. Make sure that the cord is placed correctly
in the appliance.
2. Use the baking tray to fry pancakes on the round circles. You can
also use these baking zones to fry eggs or meat.
3. Set the temperature as required and wait about 10 minutes until
the appliance has warmed up sufficiently.
4. Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the baking tray.
5. Pour the pancake batter over the baking zones with the ladle. Fry the pancakes until they are cooked
through.
6. Only use wooden or plastic utensils so you do not damage the non-stick coating of the baking
surface.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

· Clean the appliance after every use.
· Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Wait until the appliance has completely cooled
down.
· It is recommended that all food residues be removed with a wooden spatula or a heat-resistant plastic
utensil while the appliance is still hot. If the residues dry up, they will be harder to remove.
· All external surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge.
· Clean the baking surface with water and some mild detergent.
· Do not use sharp objects. Only use a wooden scraper.
· Make sure that water can not get into the appliance. Make sure that no moisture or grease gets into
the ventilation holes.
· Never use any aggressive of abrasive cleaning agents. These could cause damage to the non-stick
coating of the baking surface.
· Do not immerse the appliance in water and never clean it in a dishwasher.
