Warning
Before beginning work, make sure the
motor and exhaust system are cold; when
the engine and/or exhaust system is hot,
there is a DANGER OF BURNS!

Keep children and pets away from the
work area! Also remove your jewelry
(rings, chains, watch etc.) before begin-
ning work – Danger of getting caught or
causing a short-circuit!

Caution
Before beginning work, park the motorcy-
cle and secure it against tipping over and
rolling away. Switch off the ignition.

Note
After the retrofit kit is installed by a work-
shop, present these installation instruc-
tions to the customer. Only pass on the
retrofit kit to others together with these
installation instructions.

The cable must not be secured on
Bowden cables, fuel, brake, coolant or oil
lines. All cables must be routed so that
they are not damaged and/or do not
impair the functions of the motorcycle.
Route the connection cable along the right-hand
side of the motorcycle as shown and secure it with
four additional, short cable ties

Warning
Finally, be sure to check the smooth
movement of the handlebars – cables or
Bowden cables must not prevent limit
the steering angle.
