• The plug-in power supply must be
connected in such a way that there

is no danger of the unit falling over
or spilling liquid.
• Never clamp the cable or pull it
over sharp edges.
• Do not operate the device near
heat sources.
• Do not operate the device with
a defective power supply unit or
cable.
• Do not operate the device if the
product or parts of the device show
visible damage.
• Do not make any changes to the
device. Repairs to the unit or the AC
adapter should only be carried out
in a specialist workshop or service
centre.
• Place the unit on a firm, level surface
that is insensitive to moisture.
• Do not cover the unit - especially
the scent outlet.
• It cannot be completely ruled out
that some paints, plastics or furni-
ture care products may attack and
soften the material of the anti-slip
feet. If necessary, place a non-slip
surface under the device.
• Do not place the unit directly under
a shelf or wall cabinet. The water
mist could damage them. Maintain
a minimum distance of 25 cm.
• Aromas containing oil (e.g. eucalyp-
tus oil) must not be used as these
may damage the device. Use only
water-soluble aromas.
• Do not transport the unit with a full
water tank.

• Do not operate the device if it con-
tains very little or no liquid.
• The device must be emptied and
cleaned before storage. The device
must be cleaned before the next
use.

First use

(see Figures 1.1 - 1.6)
Fill the device only when the plug-in
power supply unit is disconnected!
1.1 Position on a level surface.
1.2 Remove the upper part.
1.3 Fill distilled water up to the maxi-
mum mark (80 ml).
1.4 Add two drops of Soehnle
fragrance oil. Fit the upper part
exactly.
1.5 Connect the power supply unit.
1.6 Switch on.
