Inserting the ultrasound sensors

The ultrasound sensors must always be mounted horizontally, otherwise measuring will be faulty.
With slanted installation sites, you can use the enclosed distancer rings (6) for compensation.
Press the sensors in the right direction into the openings until these lie flush on the bumper.
Make sure to connect the ultrasound sensors in the right sequence. Start with sensor
A on the rear left (also see illustration „individual parts").

Guide the connection cables of the ultrasound sensors from the
outside through the bumper to the trunk opening. Carefully place
the cables inside so that no moisture penetrates the inside of
the car.
Attach the control unit with the enclosed adhesive pad. A suitable
place is the side wall in the watertight trunk close to a taillight. Make sure that the connection
lines of the sensors reach up to the sensor units.
Install the connection cables of the sensors in line with the connection diagram in "Individual
parts".
When installing the cables in the sides of the car etc.,
make sure that you do not damage any safety-relevant
equipment (e.g. side airbags).
