3.2.4 Digital room air control
RLS D1 WR
Optional room air control for WR 600 units.
For detailed information about functions and
settings see  RLS D1 WR mounting and
operating instructions.
The "Plus function" can also be activated with
the RLS D1 WR room air control. In summer
operation, this brings electrical power
consumption savings of approximately 50%.
Timer RESET for filter change interval
A filter change prompt is displayed
i
on the room air control every 3 months.
We recommend changing the filter
every 6 months at the latest. Filter
change is simple and requires no
tools.
 Change the air filter as described in
Chapter 6.2.
 To acknowledge the filter change display,
press the OK button for around 3 seconds.
3.2.5 Parallel operation with RLS 1 WR
and RLS D1 WR
A change in ventilation level on the RLS 1
WR room air control is not indicated on the
digital RLS D1 WR control.
However, a change in ventilation level on
the digital RLS D1 WR room air control is
indicated on the digital RLS 1 WR control.
The ventilation unit always runs in the last
ventilation level set regardless of the room air
control on which this was set.

3.2.6 CO
sensor (option)
2
Sensor for registering carbon dioxide CO
The CO
content of the air is an indicator of
2
the quality of the room air. The higher the
CO
content, the worse the room air.
2
The ventilation unit only reacts to the CO
sensor if ventilation level 2 (nominal venti-
lation) is selected at the room air control
RLS 1 WR or RLS D1 WR.
The ventilation unit switches between the
ventilation levels, depending on the air
quality.
● If the air quality improves, the ventilation
unit switches over to ventilation level 1.
● If the air quality worsens, the ventilation unit
switches over to ventilation level 3.
● Please refer to Chapter 9.6.5, connection
option 4 for the switching point of the CO
sensor.

3.2.7 Hygrostat HY 5 (option)

For controlling the fans depending on the
relative humidity. The ventilation unit switches
to ventilation level 3 if the defined humidity
value is exceeded. If the humidity in the room
drops, the ventilation unit switches back to
the previously selected ventilation level.
If you switch manually from ventilation
i
level 3 to level 2 or 1, this deactivates
the automatic function of the hygrostat
temporarily. This is then switched
back to active if the level drops below
the hygrostat's setpoint once.
You can connect either one CO
i
sensor or several HY 5 hygrostats to
the control circuit board. Both sensor
types should never be connected at
the same time.
