– Wireless weather station
• The four weather icons Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy and Rainy
represent the weather forecast.
• The weather forecast symbols indicate an improvement or
worsening of the future weather conditions based on the current
weather, which doesn't have to correspond exactly with the
weather indicated on the symbol.
4.4.1 Weather forecast tendency indicator
• The weather tendency indicator arrow shows if the air pressure is
decreasing or increasing. The upward arrow means that the air
pressure is increasing and the weather is expected to become
better. The downward arrow means that the air pressure is de-
creasing and the weather is expected to become worse.
• If weather conditions have become stable for three hours, the
weather tendency indicator arrow disappears.
Notes to pressure sensitivity setting for weather forecasting:
• The pressure threshold can be set to suit the user's requirement
for weather forecasting from 2-4hPa (default 3hPa). For areas
that experience frequent changes in air pressure requires a higher
setting compared to an area where the air pressure is stagnant.
For example if 4hPa is selected, then there must be a fall or rise in
air pressure of at least 4hPa before the weather station will re-
gister this as a change in weather.
4.4.2 Storm warning indicator
• When there is a fall over pressure threshold plus 2 hPa within
3 hours, the storm forecasting will be activated, the clouds with
rain icon and tendency arrows will flash for 3 hours indicating the
storm warning feature has been activated.
5. Positioning of display unit and transmitter
• With the foldable leg at the back of the unit, the base station can
be placed onto any flat surface or wall mounted at the desired
location by the hanging hole at the back of the unit.Avoid the
vicinity of any interfering field like computer monitors or TV sets
and solid metal objects.
• Choose a shady and dry position for the transmitter. (Direct sun-
shine falsifies the measurement and continuous humidity strains
the electronic components needlessly)
• Check the transmission of 433 MHz signal from the transmitter to
the Display Unit (transmission range 100 m free field). Within
ferro-concrete rooms (basements, superstructures), the received
signal is naturally weakened.
• If necessary choose another position for transmitter and/or
display unit.
• To wall mount the transmitter, use 3 screws to affix the wall
bracket to the desired wall, plug in the remote sensor to the
bracket (D2).

– Radiografisch weerstation
Het radiografisch weerstation gebruikt 4 verschillende weersym-
bolen (zonnig, halfbewolkt, bewolkt, regen).
De weersymbolen tonen een weersverbetering of -verslechtering
uitgaande van de heersende weersomstandigheden, wat noch-
tans niet met het weer van het weersymbool hoeft overeen te
stemmen.
4.4.1 Aanduiding weertendens
• De weertendenspijl laat zien of de luchtdruk momenteel stijgt of
daalt. Een pijl naar rechts betekent, dat de luchtdruk stijgt en
beter weer te verwachten is. Een pijl naar links betekent, dat de
luchtdruk daalt en slechter weer te verwachten is.
• De tendenspijl verdwijnt wanneer de weersomstandigheden
gedurende 3 uren stabiel gebleven zijn.
Opmerking bij de gevoeligheidswaarden van de weersymbolen
• U kunt de drempelwaarde voor het aanduiden van een weers-
verandering zelf bepalen door een luchtdrukverandering tussen
2 - 4 hPa in te stellen (standaard 3 hPa). Kiest u bijvoorbeeld
4 hPa, wordt een weersverandering pas zichtbaar na een lucht-
drukdaling of -stijging met 4 hPa. In gebieden met veelvuldige
luchtdrukveranderingen dient de drempelwaarde hoger te wor-
den ingesteld dan in gebieden met stabiele luchtdruksituatie.
4.4.2 Stormwaarschuwing
• De stormmelder wordt actief zodra de luchtdruk binnen de 3 uren
onder de drempelwaarde vermeerderd met 2 hPa valt: het regen-
symbool en de tendenspijlen knipperen gedurende drie uur.
5. Opstellen van het basisstation en bevestigen van de
zender
• U kunt het basisstation ofwel met de uitklapbare standaard ach-
teraan opstellen ofwel met het ophangoog aan de muur bevesti-
gen. Vermijd de nabijheid van andere elektrische toestellen (tele-
visie, computer, draadloze telefoons) en massieve metalen
voorwerpen.
• Zoek een schaduwrijke tegen regen beschermde plaats uit voor
de zender. (Directe zonbestraling vervalst de meetwaarden en
continue vochtigheid belast de elektronische componenten
onnodig).
• Controleer of een overdracht van de meetwaarden van de zender
op de gewenste opstellingsplaats naar het basisstation plaats-
vindt (reikwijdte open veld ca. 100 meter, bij massieve wanden, in
het bijzonder met metalen delen kan de reikwijdte van de zender
aanzienlijk gereduceerd worden).
• Zoek eventueel een nieuwe opstellingsplaats voor zender en/of
ontvanger.
• Is de transmissie geslaagd, kunt u de houder met 3 schroeven aan
de muur bevestigen en de zender inzetten. (D2)
