the original product will have a negative impact on the safety and the quality of the
product, cause damage to it and will cancel the warranty.
Safety intructions
- Do not put anything on the lid, or push the trash bin under a low storage too (eg
kitchen countertop). The lid must, whenever necessary, fully be opened. Failure to do
so may result in any damage.
- Do not close the lid by hand, always use the automatic function to do so, or the
manual button.
- For cleaning, please use a damp cloth to wipe the surfaces. Absolutely avoid to bring
the electrical components in contact to water.
- Place the dustbin in a way there will be no direct sunlight on the sensor.
- Keep the trash bin away from open fire or hot surfaces.
- If the batteries are empty, always replace all the batteries at the same time. When
inserting the batteries, place them in the correct polarization. To disposed the used
batteries, please be aware of the local waste disposal directives.
Start-up and use
Remove the trash bin from its packaging. Packaging and foam material must be
disposed follow to local regulations. Open the lid of the battery compartment
and insert the batteries (4x 1.5V AA batteries, not included). Make sure the right
polarization is used. Please watch the + and – signs in the battery compartment.
The lid will open when it perceives movement about 20cm above the sensor, over 0,5
seconds. And it will close again when the sensor notices no movement for about 3
seconds within the same range of 20cm-range notes.
ON/OFF function: if you turn the battery compartment halfway back, the sensor
function will be switched off.
Care and storage
Check all the parts. If any problems are detected, do not use the product. Always
replace al parts with original replacements according to the manufacturers guidelines.
If the product is not properly cared for and maintained, it may become unsafe and can
also become damaged. This can lead to dangerous situations. Improper handling of
the waste bin can damage the product.
- Make sure that no cleaning water will enter the battery compartment or touch the
sensors of the lid.
- Do not clean the parts of the waste bin in the dishwater and immerse it under
running water.
- For cleaning use a sponge and warm soapy water. Do not use solvent based cleaners
or detergents for example bleach. These may damage the bin.
- Afterwards, please dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Store the waste bin in a dry and clean place. Always remove the batteries during a long
storage period.
