Deflating the SUP
•
Place the SUP on the ground.
•
Remove the valve cap.
•
Use your finger to slightly open the valve with the valve stem so that the air can gradually escape. This slow
release is to prevent the rubber washer in the valve from being dislodged by the rapidly-escaping airflow. Once
the initial pressure has been released, you can further depress the valve stem, give it a quarter turn and lock it
so that all the air can escape before the SUP is rolled up.

Place even pressure on the whole SUP to force out as much air as possible.
Folding the SUP

Place the SUP on a clean surface.
•
Roll the SUP along the deck from its bow with the footpad on the inside and the fins on the outside.
•
When the SUP is folded like this, it will fit perfectly inside the supplied carry bag/backpack.
Sunlight
The SUP must not be exposed to sunlight for long periods of time. Resulting increased pressure in the air chambers can
damage the SUP. Long-term and excessive exposure to the sun (ultraviolet rays) can shorten the lifespan of the fabric. If
the SUP is on dry land for a long period of time, cover it and shield it from direct sunlight.
Use above sea level
The regular fully-inflated air pressure of the SUP should be 14-15 PSI (max 1 bar). If the SUP is inflated at sea level and
is then transported to an area above sea level (such as a mountainous lake), the pressure must be reduced at the higher
location to prevent over-pressurisation.
General care
Detergents
Domestic detergents may be used in moderation, but must not be released into the environment. Never mix detergents
and ensure adequate ventilation when working in restricted areas. DO NOT use powerful cleaning agents, solvents,
products that contain phosphates, chlorine or solvents, or products that are non-biodegradable or oil-based. Lemon-
based detergents are ideal for cleaning SUP's and will not harm you or the environment. We recommend that you clean
your SUP using water and regular soap.
IMPORTANT: NEVER USE detergents or cleaning agents that contain alcohol or hydrocarbons. These substances will
dry the outer skin of the SUP and can damage it.
If deformed during storage or transport, bent rubber fins (2 fixed to the underside of the SUP) can be straightened by
applying constant pressure and moderate heat.
Repairs
Beware:
Prevent serious or fatal accidents resulting from fire, explosions or poisoning. The adhesive and solvents used for repairs
to the SUP are toxic and highly flammable. As a precaution, always do the related work outdoors or in a well-ventilated
area. Keep well away from open flames, sparks or devices with pilot lights. Inhalation of fumes or contact with the skin
can be harmful to your health. Do not inhale the fumes and avoid contact with your skin and eyes. Wear a respiratory
mask and protective clothing to shield exposed skin.
Minor repairs
In case of damage to your SUP, we recommend that you visit your distributor or service agent.
For minor damage or punctures, you can use the materials supplied in the repair kit.
If your SUP has suffered major damage, or if the patch would have to span a seam, repairs will have to be carried out by
a professional technician from an inflatable boat repair company. Your distributor can help you locate your nearest repair
company.
For best adhesion results, the relative humidity should be lower than 60%, while the temperature should be between 18
°C and 25 °C (62 °F and 77 °F). Do not carry out such repairs in direct sunlight.
